The team of a local human rights film festival travels for a month in a bus through Guatemala to screen films in remote villages. For many audience members, it is the first time they have seen cinema on a big screen. Dozens, sometimes hundreds of attentive and eager eyes see their own reflection through unprecedented cinematic images of violence, exclusion, and stagnation. Fragments of a journey emerge with unexpected encounters and the ever-present fascination of cinema. Film offers a journey through history and the present of a beautiful, but unhappy country.

Un equipo de organizadores locales de un festival de cine sobre derechos humanos viaja en autobús durante un mes a través de Guatemala para proyectar películas en aldeas remotas. Para muchos, es la primera vez que ven cine en una pantalla grande. Decenas, a veces cientos de ojos atentos y ansiosos ven reflejados a través de imágenes cinematográficas sin precedentes de violencia, exclusión y estancamiento.
