On the eve of his victory, a corrupt politician is haunted not by ghosts, but by the ancestors he has failed. Like a modern-day Scrooge, he is shown the precise moment the betrayal began, the point where the promise of a nation was sold for personal gain. It’s a final, desperate appeal to the conscience of a leader, a warning that the dawn will bring either redemption or ruin for the continent.
