Antonio is a 12 year old boy who grows up under the protection of a humble and loving family. The forced absence of his father in search of a better future in the gold mines confronts him with a journey of initiation in which he must leave his childhood behind and overcome his fears to go in search of his father.

Antonio es un niño de 12 años que crece bajo la protección de una familia humilde y amorosa. La obligada ausencia de su padre en busca de un mejor porvenir hacia unas minas de oro, lo enfrentan a un viaje iniciático en el que debe dejar de lado su infancia y vencer sus temores para ir en busca de su padre.
