ABOUT THIS LIVESTREAM: Ideologies & The Promise includes close to 15 minutes of original music composed by NYU Steinhardt Graduate Sanjay Garcia Pamaar. The score has won the distinction of Best Score for a Short Film by the Toronto Film Awards, announced just days before the airing of Livestream III in which Pamaar was joined by the psychologist, and fellow musician, Daniela E Schreier, PsyD ABPP, who led a discussion on the film's complex themes. Together, using examples replayed from the film, they explored how the film had to be constructed while isolated in the epicenter of a global pandemic, as well as how the music was created to portray the feelings surroundings the film's themes.
PLEASE NOTE: Ideologies & The Promise is not screening at this link. You can return to view a final preview screening on April 18. In the meantime, enter now for the interview (no code needed)
