OBSCURA follows Ezra, a once-celebrated photographer whose career and personal life are unraveling. While preparing for a prestigious fashion shoot meant to restore his reputation, Ezra faces mounting pressures: a bitter divorce and the looming loss of custody of his children. Already unstable, he enters the shoot with a volatile mix of desperation and defiance.

In the middle of the shoot, Ezra receives a call from his attorney and learns there is a strong chance his wife will gain custody of their children. To make matters worse, a new article has been published accusing him of sexual harassment and misconduct. As the session unfolds, Ezra’s aggression resurfaces. He lashes out at his model, Penelope, and clashes with her manager Evelyn, exposing the behavior that has tarnished his name. When both women walk out, Ezra turns his frustration inward, alone with his camera and the weight of his accusations. In a surreal turn of events, Ezra’s camera begins snapping photos of him unprovoked. What begins as isolation spirals into a hallucination—or maybe a real encounter—as Indira, the woman who accused him, materializes to confront him.

Caught between imagination and reality, Ezra is forced to face his past of exploitation and abuse. The women he wronged return in haunting, surreal apparitions, stripping him of the control he once had. In the end, Ezra is left broken, condemned by his own guilt, as his camera captures a final image: not of success or mastery, but of a man consumed by the consequences of his actions.
