At 92, Bobby Rush is still on the road, taking the stage and testifying through his music. Told in fragments, echoes, and moments of sudden clarity, this intimate documentary stays close to Rush, with reflections from his longtime band members. Born in rural Louisiana, Rush rose from Delta juke joints to Grammy stages, sharing bills with blues legends before appearing in "Sinners" and performing at the Academy Awards. Rather than a career retrospective, the film is a portrait of an artist still performing for his life.

Al Warren is a director and actor who lives in California, originally from Mississippi. His directorial debut is "Dogleg" and he has directed over 100 short documentary films for production company Yours Truly. Warren appears in "Dream Scenario," and "The Drama" and stars in the upcoming thriller "Godhead." "King Of The Chitlin Circuit" is Al's first feature documentary as director and editor.
