Ruminating on home as a site of memory, a Ghanaian-American father and daughter duo work through their crowded basement in search of family archives. Through intimate conversation, they reconcile familial distances, caused by immigration, divorce, and loss.

Director bio:

Claudia Owusu is a writer and filmmaker whose work divulges the nuance of Black girlhood through a personal and collective lens. She is the author of the chapbook, "In These Bones I am Shifting" from Akashic Books. Her work has received support and fellowships from the Blue Mountain Center, the Ohioana Library, the Greater Columbus Art Council, and Blackstar Pitch.
