This year’s festival intro is created by Gustav Mattsson.
Filmmaker Gustav Mattsson from Trollhättan has spent over twenty years exploring every form of cinema — from art films, commercials, and documentaries to feature films, where he feels most at home. Gustav also created the festival intros for the 2010 November Festival, which he recalls as one of the most enjoyable projects he’s ever done. In this year’s intro, he wants to highlight the creative energy on set — where coincidence and collaboration can transform into something greater than oneself, something magical. Both for the professional filmmaker and the newcomer. Because once a film is finished, it becomes a time machine — a place where creativity never dies, but keeps breathing every time someone presses “play.”
