This program combines some of the sharpest music videos we’ve seen this season alongside films about a gay and a lesbian couple forming an unlikely friendship as they flee the midwest for safety in New England, a mother struggling to finish making her daughter’s Quinceañera dress in a dystopian future, and the sudden death of a hamster revealing a decaying marriage.

**Jump! The Origins of Twerking and New Orleans Bounce Music** is a vibrant exploration of the iconic dance moves, twerking, and the infectious sounds of Bounce music, all of which originated in the heart of New Orleans. Narrated by the city’s own LGBTIQA+ icon, Big Freedia, this documentary traces the evolution of these cultural phenomena from their local roots to the undeniable influence and impact that New Orleans’ music and dance have had on today’s pop hits and the global stage.
