"Pail" is a heartfelt documentary that chronicles the profound bond between an elderly man, Hajj Abdullah, and the ancient city of Sana'a. For over six decades, Hajj Abdullah has dedicated his life to restoring and embellishing the city's historic buildings, making him an integral part of its fabric.


About the Filmmaker:

Adel Mohammed Al-Haimi is 29 years old, married with two children, and is a photographer, editor and director. He is interested in media in general and filmmaking in particular. "Pail" movie is his first professional film, which participated in many festivals and won the Baghdad Film Festival 2024 award as the best documentary film. He always aspires to raise the level of filmmaking in Yemen to international levels.
