Sebastian, an architect going through a mid-life crisis at age 45, is fired from his job as a university professor for having a romantic relationship with a student. Unemployed, he attempts to regain control of his life which he seems to have lost long ago. In his house, the situation is chaotic: his father almost died of a heart attack, his marriage is fading into routine, his son wants to drop out of school to become a youtuber and his dog is living out his last days. When the task of putting everything in order already seems colossal, his brother arrives from a trip stirring up old family resentments.
