The story is told from the perspective of Elizabeth Bell, a descendant of the once-haunted Bell family, who experiences the haunting’s return as she struggles to navigate the social hierarchy of college life. On the night of her induction as a member of the sorority she’s pledging, the spirit of the Bell Witch, who plagued her ancestors centuries prior, reveals herself in Elizabeth’s midst to inflict terror again
