Desert Lilies is a personal story about choosing to take on something uncertain, and the mindset required to keep going when it gets hard. The film follows Alice as she rides Desertus Bikus, a 1,350 km self-supported ultra gravel race from the French Basque Country to the coast of Portugal. Blending cinematic footage with GoPro clips, voice notes, and fragments from the road, it offers a grounded, intimate perspective on the physical and emotional effort behind ultra-distance riding. Before the race, Alice speaks with professional trail runner Anna Comet. Her reflections on pain, pacing, and presence quietly shape the mindset Alice brings to the challenge. Along the way, interviews with other female participants highlight the rare and often overlooked presence of women in ultra-endurance cycling. Desert Lilies isn’t about reaching the podium. It’s about choosing difficulty, navigating doubt, and finding your place in a sport where women are still the exception.

“EL LLANTO DEL GLACIAR” is a collaborative project that brings together music, dance, and mountains to raise awareness about the retreat of glaciers caused by climate change. This retreat also reflects the global crisis we are living in. Ecuadorian dancer Camila Hernández and Catalan musician Jordi Mestre merge their artistic projects, Verticalica and Soul Mountain, to give a voice to glaciers at risk of extinction. Through recordings made on various glaciers around the world, the short film highlights the beauty and vulnerability of these ecosystems. The result is an emotionally powerful work that seeks to raise awareness of the global environmental crisis. This initiative was born from the passion and voluntary collaboration of artists and technicians connected to nature.

Jamie survives 2 of the fastest snowboard crashes in history and goes on to reach a new world record of over 200kph on a perilous frozen lake in Norway.

At the heart of the Japanese winter, where snow covers the world as we know it and turns it into a playground, three riders explore a dreamlike landscape. Their journey unfolds to the rhythm of a child’s voice, questioning adults , what they forget as they grow up, the importance of play, mischief, and the simple pleasure of just being there. And these three skiers who, somehow, still seem to hold on to something of it. Between reality and animation, the film drifts into a space where boundaries fade, and where childhood might not be so far away.

In the remote north of Montenegro lies one of Europe's last wild canyons, a place of towering cliffs, ancient forests, and crystal-clear waters: Komarnica. Beneath its surface, life thrives in ways science is only beginning to understand. This film follows an international team of researchers and local conservationists as they journey into the canyon to document its hidden biodiversity. From undiscovered species to fragile cave ecosystems, their mission is urgent: the entire landscape is threatened by a proposed hydropower dam.

Five months after falling thirty meters into an ice crevasse and being rescued by helicopter, Arnaud chose to return. La Trace follows his attempt at the Summum Mont Blanc: 3.8 km of cold-water swimming, 180 km of cycling with 3,000 meters of elevation gain, and the ascent of Mont Blanc from Saint-Gervais, nearly 4,000 meters of vertical climb. All in a single day.

What happens when a professional surfer reaches their breaking point? In ‘Northbound,’ eight-time UK surf champion Lucy Campbell explores the rugged coastlines of Scotland, trading the pressure of the Qualifying Series for the raw, unpredictable beauty of the North. After battling chronic fatigue and burnout, Lucy reflects on a decade of competitive surfing and the exhilarating risk of chasing waves in the freezing mizzle and golden hours of the Scottish Highlands. This is a story about boundaries, recovery, and inspiring the next generation of women in the lineup.

In crystal-clear waters, this short documentary dives into Bonito’s underwater world through Paula’s experience. Between the quiet of freediving and the technical immersion of cave scuba diving, the film reveals different ways of inhabiting the submerged world, where body, breath, and awareness align. Subtly, fragments of her life story weave through the narrative, suggesting an active, healthy way of living guided by the rhythm of water.

When mental health campaigner Stu Skinner wakes up after a charity auction to find a cast-iron Royal Mail postbox at the end of his bed, his first thought is: what have I done? Facing eviction, heartbreak and a relapse into depression, Stu sets out to test whether one ridiculous idea could bring him some joy, and maybe bring joy to other people too. Carrying the 26kg postbox to the highest point of all 15 UK National Parks, he invites strangers, friends and communities to walk with him, write postcards to people experiencing loneliness, and talk openly about their own.Postcards from the Peaks is a film about the weight of loneliness, and what happens when you don't carry it alone.

In January 2025, 2 friends, Gavin Booth and Adam Wilton, embarked on a crossing of the Saudi Arabian Rub' al Khali, the "Empty Quarter". It was a first of its kind expedition, with the men hauling all of their supplies and water in carts across this vast and unforgiving desert with no support.

Sand, Grit and Discovery: The Crescent Crossing

Mountaineer Bernardo Fonseca embarks on a challenging journey to the summit of Mount Everest, with the goal of delivering a message to the world about the importance of conserving mountain environments, showcasing both their beauty and vulnerability. The film portrays how he discovered ongoing positive initiatives for waste management and cleanup, from the villages of the Khumbu Valley to the high-altitude camps, and how he was inspired by both locals and outsiders who are making a difference. The film encourages self-reflection on how we engage with mountaineering from the perspective of sustainability and the impact the sport generates, and it proposes individual actions as “one more step” toward protecting these natural environments.

The Extra Mile

On Italy's central Apennine mountains, one of Europe's most endangered mammals faces new threats to its survival. The Golden Fleece tells the extraordinary story of the Apennine chamois, which has never been the subject of a major television documentary before, and its fight to survive our changing climate. At the end of WWII only a small group of about 40 Apennine chamois had managed to survive the unbridled hunt. The last remaining chamois took refuge in one of the wildest and most inaccessible areas of the mountains of central Italy, preventing anyone, predators or humans, from reaching them. The chamois' refuge, a place known as La Camosciara, became the first part of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park.Almost 80 years after the end of the Second World War, the chamois with the golden fleece have recolonised the greatest peaks of the National Park among bears and wolves, and are returning to reclaim the mountains of central Italy that once made up their habitat. From summer through to late autumn, these tenacious mountain dwellers graze in high-altitude prairies at over 1,700m above sea level. But this year, something is not right. By November, the climate in the park is unusually mild and the first snow, which should have arrived, is nowhere to be seen.As December arrives, the chamois have not descended from the peaks to the lower wintering areas, as they are not layered with snow. By January, the bare mountains are sounding a silent alarm. How will the herds face their latest challenge – a winter without snow? Tracking the chamois over almost a year and a half of filming to document its entire life cycle – today being disrupted by the nearly snowless season – this film shows the impact of climate change on the chamois and the ecosystems of central Italy.

The first in trail poetry series by Arkan Zakharov, 'The Itinerant' follows athlete and writer Inma Naïma Zanoguera on a spiritual journey as she contemplates the act of movement, specifically trail running, as it speaks to the sense of her personal and our collective identity - a contemplative visual exploration of what it means to belong. Starring Inma Naïma Zanoguera and featuring her essay "The Itinerant" narrated by Gina DeMay.

In 1982, brothers Troy and Powell “Gil” Gillenwater walked across Arizona. They weren’t chasing fame or following a mapped route because there wasn’t one. What began as a homegrown adventure became an internal journey that reflected the rugged beauty of the Southwest. Accompanied by two mules, a stray dog, and a handful of topo maps, they faced snowstorms, irate ranchers, mule mishaps, a closed passage through the Grand Canyon, and the constant challenge of finding water. Their grit was a rebellion against convenience. Today the Arizona Trail, a National Scenic Trail, offers that same spirit of discovery, but its roots trace back to Native Peoples, prospectors, outlaws, and two brothers who believed that if no path existed, they would create one. "Trailblazers" is part road movie, part time machine. It explores brotherhood, self-reliance, and how one crazy idea can spark a lasting legacy for generations to follow.

UNTAMED is a documentary that follows the journey of Swiss downhill skateboarder Fabio Minnig in his quest for freedom along some of Europe’s most spectacular roads. Over the course of three years, he and filmmaker Zimy Da Kid traveled across three countries to capture much more than a sport: a human adventure driven by passion, risk, doubt, and perseverance. Produced largely through self-funding by Fabio Minnig and Zimy Da Kid, the film is the result of years of dedication, sacrifice, and determination to bring this vision to life.Blending speed, breathtaking landscapes, and moments of introspection, UNTAMED explores what drives some people to pursue their dreams no matter the cost.

Told through Gonzalo’s own voice, Volver a mí follows his journey back to sport, confidence and joy. An intimate portrait of resilience, identity and returning to yourself after life has changed completely.

Following three very different protagonists across a range of landscape, this short film explores what it means to go wild camping. Who does it, why, where, and what confrontations lie ahead? Who has the right to belong in our landscapes, and what's so wrong about pitching a tent?

We Wild Camp

The Hauslabjoch glacier, on the Italian-Austrian border, has melted due to climate change. In 1991, it released the mummified body of a Neolithic man, a man 5,300 years old, named Ötzi, after the Ötztal Alps, where he was discovered. Reading an article on this subject one day ignited Clement’s imagination. What was he doing up there? A good question for Otzi, but maybe also a good one for him, his friends and the people met in the mountains.Skis on his shoulder, he left the dead-end road of his home in Annecy, France with in front of him, the Alps to cross towards Tyrol in Austria. A long time to understand this glacier that has melted, to discuss with the dead ice man, and to bring back a poetic testimony about what still needs to be defended up there and down here.

What on Earth were they doing up there?

In the middle of Europe, the Alps stand out impressively against the horizon. Home to many animal species whose fates intertwine among these peaks: from the grass frogs that embark on long journeys of love to the extraordinary choreographies of the white-throated dipper to gain the partner. And then the inhabitants of the forest are certainly present: the squirrel is taking away the supplies of the spotted nutcracker, the woodpecker is struggling with its nest construction, and the ant is building alliances with aphids. Through a privileged and fresh look at the life, love, difficulties and strategies adopted by these animals, we are able to discover that it’s not always the stronger who prevails but those who help each other. In this, trees and mushrooms are real masters.

Wild Alps

Windward is a documentary about Walt Raineri, a blind sailor. The doc follows his journey becoming blind, and how he used sailing and nature to adapt to the hardships of it. After years of living with an inherited retinal disease, Walt believed he had prepared for blindness. But he soon realized that it would not be that simple. Following his journey within a community of blind sailors, the film invites us into an immersive sensory world where navigation becomes listening, feeling, and trusting of the boat, of the wind, and of one another. He uses the water to feel comfort, freedom, and challenge and his story opens into a broader exploration on what it means to be human: moving from one moment of ability to the next.
