To combat her anxiety-induced psychological disorders, Danielle takes her therapist’s advice and finds something productive to focus her attention on – a stationary bike. As she rides, Danielle soon discovers that it transports her to a place where her insecurities manifest as 1950s housewives. They are beautiful, charming, and manicured. One dutiful housewife in particular stands out to her: Rose.

Danielle soon becomes obsessed with this alternate, dreamlike reality and spends every waking moment on her new bike. Eventually, the housewives accept her into their inner circle. As she falls in deeper and deeper with the wives and this new world, Danielle realizes this place is not what it seems.
