Set over the course of a single morning in New York City, Neuman follows a sober alcoholic named Aoife as she busies herself in her twelve-step homegroup after the newcomer she’s become emotionally entangled with disappears on the eve of his first sober anniversary. As Aoife clings to her daily routine to distract from her predicament, the limits of her hard-won emotional sobriety are tested and she regresses further and further into old patterns of behavior.
