Markus’ great-great-great-grandfather invented the nutcracker in 1870 and thus began the “Original Füchtner Company”. For 150 years, each son of each father has taken the company over and then passed it down. Today, Markus Füchtner is the self-described ‘Nutcracker King’. Markus trains his adolescent son to become the ninth generation while discussing his family’s unique history.
