What would you give up to make room for the life you want? Bulgarian immigrant Radka Winslow (Katerina Stoykova) has decided to sell her home and return to Bulgaria to pursue poetry full-time. As potential buyers tour her house, Radka’s poems, letters, and conversations transform the process of leaving behind her American Dream into something much more personal. "Other Houses" blurs the lines between reality and fiction, marking another compelling collaboration between directors Southerland, Gentry, and lead Stoykova. -FM

Thomas Southerland and S. Cagney Gentry are southern filmmakers who have collaborated on three films together. "Fort Maria" (2018) screened at NOFF and won the Jury Prize and Best Cinematography award at the Ashland Independent Film Festival and the Best Director award from the BendFilm Festival in 2018.
