Director bio: Kaylee Postoak is a filmmaker, storyteller, and creative who works to bring new film and TV stories to life. She believes that stories can come from anywhere and that everyone has a story worth telling. Being a queer, Indigenous woman, her creative focus is on uplifting those who are underrepresented in media.

Pushing hard so that she can participate in her company’s upcoming production, Andie re-injures herself. While healing, she begins to realize the importance of self-care. Director bio: Mackenzie Bell is a filmmaker from Prairieville, LA. She has directed six short films, three of which combine her lifelong love for dance and her passion for filmmaking ("I Dreamt I Was Going Down," "Georgiana," and "Mentality"). Across the different genres she covers, her films tend to return to a theme related to the human condition.

A haunted poet, tormented by a mysterious bruise and visions of his past, must confront his buried trauma before it silences him forever. Director bio: Keva Peters, Jr., is a New Orleans-born, Saint Rose-raised poet, filmmaker, and photographer whose work explores the rich tapestry of the Black Southern experience. A first-generation scholar and graduate of both Dillard University and Florida State University’s film programs, he is pursuing a career in independent filmmaking rooted in Louisiana.

A young woman awakens in a sterile white room to a disembodied voice that subjects her to a series of escalating trials as fragments of her memory slowly return. Director bio: Maxine Sylvina Ayala is a Hispanic Honduran transgender filmmaker, director, and cinematographer from New Orleans, Louisiana and is a recent graduate of Loyola University New Orleans. Her work is visually focused and is tied closely to issues surrounding climate change and personal/gender identity.

Director bio: Miles Caradine is a New Orleans-based writer and director. Born and raised in Oxford, Mississippi, he recently finished his studies at Loyola University New Orleans with a BFA in filmmaking. He continues his work in film production, collaborating on indie shorts, experimental music videos, and student film projects. Caradine has a mean taste in character actresses and bloody guts!

Director bio: Cameron M. Brown is a filmmaker and producer from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a recent graduate from Tulane University. Film’s ability to correct and subvert harmful narratives drives Cameron to make bold films that connect with his queer, southern identity. He firmly believes in the power of whimsical, LGBT youth-centered storytelling to bring laughter, warmth, and truth to a sinister world.
