Hazel Monroe, a trans pageant queen finds herself back in the spotlight to reclaim the space she once fled. But as the pressure mounts, her surreal visions blur her reality, forcing her to confront the self-doubt that shadows her womanhood. Director bio: Milo Richards is a filmmaker from Virginia whose work explores performative identity and collective memory through hybrid narrative and documentary forms. Prior to film, he worked in Richmond's theater community professionally as an actor. Milo’s filmmaking is informed by his background as an actor and his interest in the ways queer people inhabit stories about themselves.

Director bio: A Nashville native, Cameron Adams is a recent graduate of Loyola University, New Orleans, where she earned a BFA in filmmaking with a minor in women's studies. Her work has ranged from coming-of-age dramas, to biting punk comedies, to German expressionist thrillers; ultimately driven by a desire to create meaningful stories and artistic experiences that resonate with women and the LGBTQ+ community.

Director bio: Sophie Barnes is a writer/director and actor from Arkansas. Her work explores themes of relational intimacy, queer identity, and repression in the American South. Sophie holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Film and a Bachelor of Arts in Film from University of Central Arkansas. She loves to make movies with her friends, which she believes is what they were made for.

Her work as both a director and producer has been showcased at Sundance, SXSW, Fantastic Fest, HollyShorts, Cannes, and Palm Springs Shortsfest.
