Director bio: Tif “Teddy” Lamson is a self-taught director from Lafayette, LA, whose work is shaped by music and the dreamlike beauty of the Louisiana landscape. As a full-time musician and artist, she directs with a collaborative, artist-first approach that focuses on blending sound and image into emotionally immersive experiences, creating space for stories to emerge with honesty, intuition, and reverence.

Once a passionate musician, Jim can no longer play, but his love for New Orleans Jazz remains unwavering. As he navigates an increasingly desperate situation at home, music becomes his refuge. Director bio: Alistair Little and Stuart Hackshaw are UK based filmmakers who have been collaborating for more than 15 years, working as director and DP in commercials, drama and documentary. Their recent credits include TV drama "Truelove" for Channel 4, and feature documentary "Take That’s Greatest Days: 30 Years in the Making" for ITVX.

Enter the world of trumpeter, composer, educator, and storyteller Lani B. Supreme (Jelani Akil Bauman) as he carries forward a musical legacy that began with his great-great-grandfather before emancipation. Driven by his family’s craft, Bauman’s music celebrates Black creative expression. Director bio: Sabaah Folayan is an award-winning filmmaker whose work combines nuance, optimism and cultural relevance. Her films include "Whose Streets?," which premiered at Sundance; Hulu’s "Look at Me: XXXTENTACION;" and "Ratified," which premiered on PBS in 2025. A 2022 Pew Fellow and 2023 Chicken &amp; Egg Breakthrough Awardee, her work is rooted in behavioral science and social justice.

Lani B. Supreme: Legacy

This film is a love letter to New Orleans. It showcases the poet Chuck Perkins and his poem "Second Line," written for the movie. Director bio: Lemiale is a French director and DP in love with New Orleans after directing a documentary there in 2023. He was a part of Le Marché du film in Festival de Cannes, 2022, with the fictional movie "Alex". His last short, "The Legend of Chupacabra - Slap Messiah" was recently bought by French television.

Second Line

This film is a love letter to New Orleans, showcasing the poet Chuck Perkins and his poem "Second Line," written for the movie.

Guided by the dual spirits of expression and collaboration, New Orleans-based pedal steel guitarist Dave Easley travels west to the desert to record an album of impressionistic, free jazz music. Director bio: T.J. Masters is an artist based in Texas. He works as a musician, photographer, and sometime FM radio program host. From radio transmitters and motorcycles to motion picture cameras, he is a self-taught technician and can usually be found building, repairing, or restoring something. He lives with three cats, nine chickens, and an ever-expanding collection of photographic chemicals.
