A silhouetted figure washes and paints the iconic view of Cathedral Rock—a sacred Indigenous site and popular "vortex" destination in Sedona—using the surrounding red earth. A ritualistic meditation on erasure, revelation, and the act of looking with heightened care.

After 55 years, The Grand Illusion Cinema in Seattle's University District moved out of its original location. In 2023, the building that housed the cinema for decades was sold for $2.3 million, and the new landlord declined to renew their lease beyond February 2025. As The Grand Illusion searches for a new home, its vibrant history and legacy will live on.
