This collection of Asian documentaries offers an intimate window into the lives, histories, and struggles of communities across the diaspora. From deeply personal stories to urgent social issues, these films shed light on voices often overlooked, capturing resilience, memory, and transformation with honesty and care. Together, they form a powerful mosaic of lived experiences that not only inform but inspire, reminding us of the strength and complexity of Asian stories on screen.

Voices: Chinese Women of the Delta" uncovers the remarkable yet largely forgotten stories of Chinese immigrant women who carved out lives in California's Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta region despite facing dual barriers of societal racism and patriarchal traditions.

Through intimate testimonies, the documentary illuminates how these pioneering women became the backbone of their communities—sustaining cultural practices, building economic foundations, and nurturing future generations against seemingly insurmountable odds.

Their previously unheard narratives reveal not just personal triumphs over adversity, but also their profound, unacknowledged contributions to California's multicultural identity and the broader American story.
