Voices With Impact in conversation with Michelle Hammer of Schizophrenic.NYC

Schizophrenia on Screen is a short film program followed by a live conversation between Chris Hyde, Director of Voices With Impact, and Michelle Hammer, founder of Schizophrenic.NYC.

Michelle is an artist living with schizophrenia whose work, from her art and apparel to her raw, unfiltered presence on social media, has built one of the most honest communities around mental illness anywhere online. She knows better than most what it feels like when your experience gets distorted, dramatised, or simply ignored on screen.

Sue, a solicitor turned artist, was diagnosed with schizophrenia two decades ago. She re-wilds a garden and discovers an affinity with plants.
