This block of films takes viewers on a journey from the grasslands of Florida to the forests of Yurok territory, from the microscopic world of insects to the expansive habitats of elephants. Each film showcases the dedication of individuals working to protect and understand our environment, while also highlighting the importance of diverse approaches to conservation.

The block emphasizes themes of resilience, traditional wisdom, and the interconnectedness of all living things. It demonstrates how small actions and shifts in perspective can have significant impacts on our understanding and preservation of the natural world

As elephant numbers slowly rise, the balance between humans and elephants in rural Zambia is increasingly strained as both populations compete for limited resources. Expanding settlements and unsustainable agriculture encroach on elephant habitats, jeopardizing both human livelihoods and the elephant population. Can humans and elephants coexist?

With escalating conflicts over the past decade and the expectation of more frequent droughts due to climate change, establishing transfrontier wildlife corridors becomes essential. These corridors, however, face challenges from settlements, agriculture, and infrastructure, leading to daily human-wildlife conflicts. The local population's role is crucial in fostering harmonious coexistence. Developing economically and socially viable coexistence models within the local community is vital for the long-term survival of both elephants and humans.
