Films to help us work out work, whether it's paid, unpaid. These older women are making, serving, judging, listening to industrial machinery, or finding out where to put their anger.
Block 1: Work in progress
A struggle in a photo booth, a comforting blanket on a beach, and a bracelet that says it's my time to go. Caring for others, being cared for, caring for ourselves, caring for our planet. What is caring if not solidarity and resistance?
Block 2: Who cares?
Reclaiming histories and bodies and lands. A woman influences her followers and her daughter, and another defies the men who threaten her farm. One woman ignites a revolution of unlearning. How do we connect the dots?
Block 3: Past to present
Two sisters play Cupid for their granddad, a woman sketches a lover's face, and a bridal shop offers five-minute transformations. Films about family, memory and joy.
Block 4: New loves
What's our purpose after retirement? Can we ever really go back home? Daughter, stranger, lawyer or prisoner, don't we all deserve a shot at redemption?
Block 5: Second chances
Listening to friends' excuses. Learning to speak again. Inking history on your skin. Artists of the senses help us make sense of the world.
Block 6: Sensational
Things lost - a cat, a word, a home. Things found - friendship, photos, love. Films about people, places and memories misplaced or reclaimed.
Block 7: Lost and found
A woman doesn't want to know what her family has planned for her, a girl learns who she can't trust, a whistleblower reveals nuclear secrets. Life schools us but will we pass the test?
Block 8: The knowledge
