The Other Roe
This doc uncovers the forgotten story of Doe v. Bolton and the trailblazing attorney Margie Pitts Hames, whose Supreme Court victory helped define reproductive freedom in America—only to be eclipsed by Roe v. Wade and nearly erased from history.
Maurice and Marvin
A meditation on how one man, facing inconsolable grief, used photography—and Instagram—to cope, to honor his husband, and to create an online community for others mourning their own loved ones.
Odd Man In
Odd Man In explores the complex double life of Donald Webster Cory, a mysterious writer who helped ignite the early gay rights movement—and then betrayed it.
Hummingbird
After a pipe breaks in his late grandfather's house, filmmaker Troy Charbonnet documents a home in transition, searching its rooms for traces of memories and what remains after loss.
La Mar
Once a vibrant fishing village on the coast of Tabasco, Mexico, the ocean is swallowing El Bosque. As tides rise and homes collapse, one woman leads a relentless fight to secure a new future for her community, even if it means leaving behind the only home they’ve ever known.
Some Kind of Refuge
Dwellers of the lush and peaceful banks of the Mississippi River live outside the constraints of modern society. Their slowly disappearing way of life depends on resourcefulness, respect for nature, spiritual freedom and resiliency.
