    Director's Biography: Nicholas Z. Scott and Jud Willmont have written, directed, and produced over twenty independent short films, winning awards in the Shanghai International Film Festival, the Shanghai International Short Film Competition, and Shanghai 48 Hour Film Project. In 2023 and 2024, their films Requiem for a Martyr and Detaching both screened at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the 48 Hour Film Project’s “Best From Around the World” showcase. Their debut feature, a Chinese-language found footage superhero noir has completed post-production and is slated for release in 2026.
