Director bio: Chica Barbosa is a Mexican-Brazilian filmmaker based in LA, working across narrative, documentary, and experimental film. Her work explores identity, displacement, and postcolonial experience through lyrical, symbolic storytelling. She's screened at IDFA, Sheffield Doc/Fest, DOC NYC, and is developing her first narrative feature, a Mexico-US co-production.
