Director bio:

Jean Chapiro is a Mexican filmmaker and journalist based in New York. As a director, she has received a Student Academy Award, Student DGA Award, Cannes Lions Young Director Award, and two Ariel nominations. As a producer, she has won two Student BAFTA Awards and was shortlisted for the 98th Academy Awards. She holds an M.S. in Journalism and an MFA in Creative Producing from Columbia University.
